Third participation in the Jena company run

For the first time at the "ad hoc arena in the Ernst Abbe sports field"

The 14th Jena Company Run took place on May 21, 2025 - and our team took part for the third time in a row. For the first time, the course ran around the modernized Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld, which immediately proved its worth as a new venue. With a total of 3,500 runners, a new record number of participants was set - and we were there with eight colleagues.

The weather was perfect, temperatures were pleasant and there was a great atmosphere on the 5 km course. As in previous years, the focus was on running together - regardless of pace or ranking.

Good organization and a sporty atmosphere

The course was organized smoothly on site. From the race number distribution, baggage drop-off and changing rooms to free drinks at the finish line - everything ran smoothly. The new infrastructure around the Ernst Abbe Stadium was also impressive, as was the atmosphere on and off the course. Music, water points and support along the course made for a successful evening of running.

Refreshments and a chat after the finish

After crossing the finish line, there was time for refreshments, cool drinks and relaxed team discussions - a successful end to a sporty afternoon.

Company run with social commitment

As in previous years, the Jena company run once again supported various social projects in the region in 2025. Part of the proceeds will go to initiatives such as Tausendtaten e.V., the ASB's wish wagon, the Jena Hospice and Palliative Foundation and the Elterninitiative krebskranker Kinder e.V. parents' initiative - a commitment that we expressly welcome.

Outlook for 2026

The next Jena company run will take place on May 20, 2026 - for the 15th time. Next year, the event will once again take place at the Ernst Abbe Sports Field. Under the motto #JenasFirmenLaufen! we are happy to be there again.
