Tradition meets skyline: our Jena miniatures
How do you combine Erzgebirge tradition with modern architecture? With gifts that tell stories—about stars, city life, and craftsmanship.Every year, we create a special gift for our customers and suppliers – something that is not only decorative, but also tells a story.
Since last year, we have been focusing on a combination of the Jena skyline and Erzgebirge tradition. They are designed to shine as stylish Christmas decorations and at the same time bring a piece of Jena into people's living rooms.
In 2024, we started with the Zeiss Planetarium as a smokehouse – a place that has been inspiring people to look at the stars for almost 100 years. This year, the JenTower followed as a light house – the striking skyscraper that characterizes Jena and is affectionately known as the “cookie roll.”
We invited the recipients to showcase their miniatures and share photos. The result is a gallery full of personal perspectives – and we are delighted to see how creatively these little landmarks are being integrated into everyday life.
