Team event in Kahla

Between factory tour, hike and throwing duels - a varied team day

On 8 May 2025, our next team event was on the agenda - with a varied mix of culture, exercise and competition.

Start at the Kahla porcelain factory

We started the morning with a guided tour of the Kahla porcelain factory. Between raw paste, kilns and impressive precision work, we were given exciting insights into the world of porcelain production. For many of us, it was the first time to see an industrial company of this kind from the inside - the interest was correspondingly high.

Hike to the Helenenstein restaurant

After the factory tour, we set off together towards Helenenstein. The hiking trail led us through the beautiful spring landscape around Kahla, with plenty of opportunity for conversation, fresh air and the odd breather. Our destination was the restaurant of the same name, where we fortified ourselves for the next part of the program with an extensive lunch.

Cross boccia with ambition

Freshly fortified, we took part in the company's internal cross boccia tournament in the afternoon. The throwing lanes led over meadows, gravel and anything else that presented itself as an obstacle - true to the motto: the main thing is not to be bored.

The sporting ambition was palpable, but the laughter was at least as loud. In the end, one colleague with a steady hand and a good eye was able to prevail and pull the trophy onto his table. 

Conclusion: Good day, good food, good throws.

A successful day with lots of impressions, exercise and a pinch of competition. We are already looking forward to the next time - the trophy has now moved on.
